Drumminis was formed in 1841. It was originally known as Hamilton' s Bawn.
The first minister was Rev Henry Kidd (1842-62) and the church was built during his ministry. The congregation was united with Redrock on 1 July 1924, under the new ministry of Rev Thomas Bole.
A new gallery was added to the church in 1974, with seating for an extras fifty people. Membership has risen from fifty to ninety families in the past fifty years.
