Hamiltonsbawn Childrens Meeting commenced in 1966, it was founded by the late Mr Manard Sandford who had a genuine love for children. He continued faithfully for many years until ill health prevented him being actively involved, however prayer interest in the children’s work never failed.

The sole object of meeting with the children is to teach them the bible, which is the word of God. The apostle Paul writing to Timothy in 2 Timothy ch 3 v 15 says “ Since you were a child you have known the holy scriptures which are able to make you wise unto salvation”.

The children meet each Wednesday from 6.30 to 7.30pm commencing September to Easter.

Format;

Singing bible based choruses;  Learn bible verses;  Bible lessons;  Quiz based on the previous lesson;  Activities, colouring for juniors, word search and written lessons for older pupils;  Visiting speakers who teach a bible lesson; Prize night is at the close of the season. It remains the desire of the present leaders to emulate the faithfulness, love and care of all who have been involved in the work, for the eternal blessing of the children.
